Agile Scrum

Agile Scrum

Agile is an increasingly popular methodology choice for project management. Agile is highly interactive, allowing for rapid adjustments throughout a project. Agile is developed for projects that require significant flexibility and speed, breaking down delivery cycles into sprints (short time boxes). It really has to be said that the term ‘agile’ can refer variously to a philosophy, an approach, and a methodology of software development. On the other hand,‘scrum’ is the most popular framework (process framework) for running agile. Scrum is an agile process framework for managing complex work. Scrum is designed to optimise flexibility, creativity and productivity. Therefore, agile promotes flexibility by following an iterative and incremental development life cycle. Agile relies exactly on that: everything always changes.

Requirements are not unalterable; they can be changed at any time! If everything is subject to change, we can’t afford to build software without feedback until its testing phase. Therefore, the most important principle of agile is that we want frequent software deliveries. The faster we ship software to production, the faster we get feedback and the faster changes can be applied if needed. Scrum has a predefined and recurring set of rules, roles and processes used to run agile, which expedite the release of higher quality products.
